BAND & CHORUS

Our Band and Chorus Programs are a long standing tradition here at Holy Family. We have two bands, a Beginner Band for first year students and an Advanced Band for students with playing experience. We currently have six of our advanced students playing with the Diocesan Honors Band. Many of our band students have gone on to play in high school and college with some even receiving college scholarships. Band classes meet before school in the music room.

We also have two choruses, a Junior Chorus for students in grades 3 and 4 and a Senior Chorus for students in grades 5 through 8. We sometimes invite 2nd graders to join our Junior Chorus the second half of the school year. Our Senior Chorus meets before school on Wednesday mornings. Our Junior Chorus meets on Wednesday afternoons immediately after early dismissal. Chorus is open to all students who enjoy singing and wish to participate. Our bands and chorus give several performances throughout the school year. Each year, usually in the spring, our band and chorus students sing the National Anthem at an Orlando Magic game.
