K4J - KIDS FOR JESUS

K4J Club
The Kids For Jesus club meets once a month after school to help motivate
children to practice virtues, make good choices, and love Christ through
their Catholic Faith. The club meeting uses crafts, games, service projects
and other activities to jump start the children on their "mission of the
month". Each month your child will be given a "mission" to help them learn
and practice a virtue. An example of a virtue was Responsibility. The
mission pack will be given to the child in school and contains materials
focused on the virtue of the month, a holy hero card of the Saint of the
month, and Parent's Perspective. The K4J club is open to all students in
grades PK - 4th grade. Students in 5th-8th grade, may also join the Club as
Captains and will assist with teaching, games, and crafts (service hours may
be earned). If you are interested in registering your child please contact
dipietrej@mac.com.

K4J Captains Skit Club
The K4J Captains Skit Club is a drama group that meets twice a month after
school to practice a Skit which is based on the School K4J Virtue program.
It is performed in the Holy Family school cafeteria for Pre-K through 4th
grades one day in the month during school hours. The Skit Club will give
the students participating in it, a chance to develop leadership skills and
mentor the younger students in our school. It is an opportunity for our
older Holy Family students to use the many gifts they have been given from
God to illustrate the K4J virtue of the month. All students are welcome to
join and no acting experience is needed. Service Hours may be earned for
practices and performances. The Skit Club is open to all students in grades
5th through 8th grade. If you are interested in joining the Skit Club
please contact plake1@cfl.rr.com.
