Philosophy
- The philosophy of Holy Family Catholic School
is to provide a Christian
atmosphere wherein the faculty challenges the students to achieve academic
excellence.
We believe that each student has been blessed with individual gifts and talents,
which need to be cultivated and shared.
In loving and supportive surroundings, each child is encouraged and
helped to grow in faith, knowledge and love.
Objectives
- To instill in our students the deeper
understanding that Christ is the reason that Holy Family School exists, and to be true
examples of Christ each and every day.
- To develop an understanding of Catholic
worship and its importance in living the Gospel message.
- To help students develop
an appreciation of their uniqueness as children of God.
-
To provide the students with the opportunity to reach out beyond the walls of the
classroom and into the community.
- To foster an environment where each
student comes to realize that he/she has the power to make better the lives of
those around him/her.
- To actively involve family and community in school programs
which will enrich and complement student experiences.
- To provide a program of
quality education and learning experience whereby students will be quipped to
become contributing members of society.
- To encourage students to think
critically and creatively through group discussions and projects which transform
classrooms into forums for exchanging ideas.
- To empower students and faculty
with the knowledge and ability to use emerging technologies while being aware of the
global society in which we live.
- To provide our students the best possible education
in a Catholic environment which will enable them to succeed in the world.
