ADMISSION POLICY

Holy Family School primarily serves parishioners of Holy Family Church. Our school is for practicing, believing Catholics who want their children to know, love, and serve God. It is a Christ-centered environment where we come together to learn about Catholic morals, discipline and academics.
It is important that our families understand what a Catholic School is and what a Catholic School is not.

A Catholic School is not:
Registration for returning students and incoming siblings is held in January. Open registration for the community is held in February. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee at the time of registration.

Admission is based on several criteria that have been developed to make selection as objective and fair as possible and are as follows:
  1. Active parishioners who attend weekly Mass and are supportive members through the use of "Stewardship of Treasure" envelopes.  Regular attendance at Mass and use of the envelope system is required of all parishioners.  Attendance at liturgy is necessary in order to continue to bridge religious values between the home and the school.  One of the deepest expressions of our beliefs is attendance at liturgy, for it is our living faith.
  2. Length of membership as active parishioners.
  3. Catholics from other parishes who are active and supportive members of their parish.
  4. Non-active members of Holy Family parish.
  5. Families of other faith.
  6. Completion and approval of registration package.
  7. Satisfactory results of entrance evaluation.
